RESIDENCY- Northern Rivers Artist Exchange
Grafton Regional Gallery and Arts Northern Rivers invite artists from across the Northern Rivers to apply for the Northern Rivers Artist Exchange Residency — a week-long creative stay in the Clarence Valley between July and November 2026, with accommodation, studio space and a stipend provided, artists can connect with local people, landscape and stories.
“Residencies like this remind us how powerful creative exchange can be,” says Gallery Director Jane Kreis.
The residency offers an opportunity to immerse in the Clarence Valley’s landscape and community, connect with the Grafton Regional Gallery and Arts Northern Rivers teams, and develop creative work that builds meaningful connections with people or place. Preference will be given to artists whose practice or project is site-responsive or community-engaged.
