GRG Artists in Residence Program

The Grafton Regional Gallery Artist Cottage is a fully equipped studio apartment located in historic Prentice House. With easy walking distance to the city centre, the boutique accommodation is situated in the gallery’s historic Prentice House wing surrounded by cottage gardens with direct access to the internal courtyard and cafe area.  

 

Artists from any discipline can undertake a two-week residency, with access to the GRG Art Studio. Successful artists and creative practitioners will demonstrate a clear rationale for their stay. The residency may represent an opportunity to focus on the development of new work, research for a curatorial or creative project, or time out from work commitments to focus on artistic practice.
