Grafton Regional Gallery is one of NSW’s leading contemporary public galleries. We deliver a vibrant and innovative program of exhibitions, events, public programs, and community engagement projects to provide exceptional and unexpectedly global experiences to the communities of the Clarence Valley and its visitors.

By using our page, you agree to the following guidelines.

HOW WE USE SOCIAL MEDIA

We aim to keep you up to date on news, upcoming events, programs and services. At times we may also share information from other government agencies that is of benefit to our community. This page is not monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Where possible we will respond to enquiries relating to the contents of this page within 2 business days. If you have a question or complaint in relation to Council services or your specific situation, please contact our Customer Service Centre on (02) 6643 0200 during business hours or email council@clarence.nsw.gov.au.

GUIDELINES

We are committed to upholding and promoting openness, relevance, accuracy and respect. As outlined in Clarence Valley Council’s social media policy, we may hide or delete posts that we consider to be:

- defamatory, offensive, humiliating, threatening or intimidating to council officials or members of the public

- contains profane language or is sexual in nature

- constitutes harassment and/or bullying within the meaning of clauses 3.7 and 3.9 of the Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW, or is unlawfully discriminatory

- contains content about Council, Council officials or members of the public that is misleading or deceptive

- breaches the privacy of Council officials or members of the public

- contains allegations of suspected breaches of the Council’s code of conduct or information about the consideration of a matter under the Procedures for the Administration of the Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW

- violates an order made by a court

- breaches copyright

- advertises, endorses or solicits commercial products or business

- constitutes spam

- would be in breach of the rules of the social media platform

If you are in breach of these guidelines, Council may block your account. Prior to blocking somebody from this page, where practicable, Council will advise the person of the intention to ban or block them and be given a chance to respond.

PRIVACY

The Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 applies to the use of social media platforms by the Council and councillors. Any other information provided on social media platforms may be used for official purposes. If you have information that you don’t wish to disclose in a public forum, please contact us via our Customer Service Centre.
