Grafton Regional Gallery (GRG) is the recipient of a $110,000 Create NSW grant to support delivery of its 2025 artistic program.

GRG is one of 51 NSW organisations funded to deliver diverse arts and cultural programming in 2025, providing communities and audiences across the state access to the exceptional calibre of homegrown creative talent across the state.

Create NSW Arts and Cultural Funding will enable GRG to cement its reputation as a leading public gallery in regional NSW. Importantly, the GRG 2025 annual program will support regionally based artists and creative practitioners through exhibitions and professional development programs. A focus on community arts and cultural development will stimulate the region’s creative economy, viability, and vibrancy.

“With a dynamic team of gallery professionals leading programming and engagement, Grafton Regional Gallery is working to refresh, renew, and cement its reputation as a leader in the NSW visual arts and cultural landscape”, says Clarence Vally Councils Mayor Ray Smith.

“Create NSW 2025 Annual Program funding recognises this vision and the important role the gallery plays in the cultural life of the Clarence Valley.”

This funding represents a significant funding boost for the Gallery which has not received annual program funding since 2019.

“This funding means 51 organisations employing artists, creative leaders and cultural workers will be supported in their important role of shaping our identity through arts and cultural experiences” says Karen Rodgers, Director Arts, Create NSW.

“The homegrown arts and cultural programs that will be developed, created, and delivered have far-reaching impact, enriching every community, telling our stories and inspiring participants and audiences across NSW.”

Grafton Regional Gallery is a cultural facility of Clarence Valley Council.
