Selvedge | Robert Moore and Sue Hall

Selvedge continues Robert Moore and Sue Hall’s collaboration that began in 2021, when Hall responded to Moore’s extensive collection of hand-printed fabrics from his work with Australian fashion lifestyle brands Mambo and Deus Ex Machina. 26 July - 14 September

An icon of Australian art, Ken Done is a name synonymous with colour, vibrancy, and originality. For the first time in years, this exhibition brings to light a selection of the many Ken Done prints held in the Grafton Regional Gallery Collection. 27 September - 23 November

The Clarence Valley Indigenous Art Award (CVIAA) supports and celebrates the region’s rich First Nation’s culture.

Now in its 22nd year, the 2025 CVIAA showcases all entrants to this year’s prize with work by contemporary First Nations artists residing on Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, and Yaegl Country in the Clarence Valley.

Exhibition - Selvedge | Robert Moore and Sue Hall

In this exhibition, Robert Moore’s paintings on paper– characterised by large gestures, abstract marks, and landscapes – are transformed by Sue Hall who sews the paintings on paper into wearable forms such as shirts, bags, and hats. The result is an installation where abstraction and functionality collide.
