2019 Artist in Residence Program information
The Grafton Regional Gallery is calling for expressions of interest for Artist in Residence applications for the 2019 program. The program is aimed at emerging and established artists who are developing a career in the arts and is supported with funding from Create NSW.
Applicants are asked to provide details of their professional qualifications and / or exhibition history and required to outline the details of proposed public programs they would like to provide during the residency. The first residency will take place from Monday 8 to Sunday 28 April, with a second on offer Monday 8 to Sunday 28 July.
The Grafton Regional Gallery aims to provide a supportive environment for artists and curators to pursue their practice. The residency fosters research, new work and collaborations. Accommodation, a stipend payment and studio space at the Grafton Regional Gallery are all provided as part of the residency.
Applications for the April residency will close on Friday 22 February 2019 and applications for the second residency will close on Friday 19 April 2019. For more information please email email@example.com
