Opportunities for Artists
Are you an artist looking for a great opportunity?
Do you have a great idea that will take your arts practice to the next level? The Gallery periodically seeks applications from Clarence Valley artists for Yulgilbar Fellowships on offer. The Gallery and the Yulgilbar Foundation provides assistance for artists to develop their arts practice within Australia and abroad. The Fellowships provide assistance towards travel to undertake study, residency, mentorship or a research project.
A call out for applications will take place in mid 2020.
Did you know that the Gallery provides a bursary for Clarence Valley artists to attend a Grafton Regional Gallery workshop at no charge?
The Gallery is excited to be supporting Clarence Valley artists through the Artists Workshop Bursary Program. The program is designed to provide assistance to emerging and local artists to take their practice to the next level by attending a Grafton Regional Gallery organised workshop or professional development event that they could not otherwise attend due to limited resources.
Only one bursary can be awarded to any one single applicant within a 6 month period. Bursaries will be awarded on merit at the discretion of a selection panel organised by Grafton Regional Gallery. Artists can submit multiple applications throughout the year, however it’s important to think about what workshops will benefit your practice the most to prioritise you applications.
