Ministry of Handmade: Make a Lampshade, Saturday 6 April or Sunday 7 April, from 9:30am - 1:00pm
Ministry of Handmade creates a fun,enjoyable and relaxed workshop experience where everyone goes home with a unique finished lampshade. Using only industry-standard materials, their professional lampshade-making techniques are simple and easy to follow. The workshops includes lampshade materials (**excluding fabric**), expert tuition and all necessary tools to make one of the following lampshade sizes:
Drum lampshade (vertical sides): 20cm, 25cm or 30cm diameter.
Empire lampshade (tapered sides): 13cm top diameter/18cm bottom diameter or 15cm top diameter/20cm bottom diameter.
Tickets are $160 + booking fee, or $150 + booking fee for current Friends of the Gallery members. To register for Saturday 6 April click HERE - To register for Sunday 7 April click HERE
If you wish to take part in a workshop and require assistance due to limited resources consider applying for a Bursary. One is awarded to a single applicant based on merit within a six month period. Download a bursary form here for conditions and to apply.
