Friends of Grafton Gallery Inc. (FoGG)
The Gallery is very generously supported by the Friends of Grafton Gallery which is the major sponsor of the JADA.
Becoming a Friend enables you to enjoy a range of benefits including; invitations to exhibition openings, special events at the Gallery, newsletters, exhibition programs and invitations will be emailed to you regularly and we endeavour to organise special excursions to other galleries and places of interest. The Friends are active in organising or supporting concerts, artists’ talks, lectures and exhibition openings. We hold up to four fabulous events each year which are open to members of the public to come along and enjoy.
Joining the Friends of Grafton Regional Gallery is a great way to meet new people, participate in the vibrant arts scene of the Clarence Valley and support the Grafton Regional Gallery.
The Friends has had a long standing history of supporting visual arts in our community. From the foundation of the Jacaranda Art Society the Friends of Grafton Regional Gallery (FoGG) formed in 1992.
The group has gone from strength to strength since then and is major sponsor of the nationally recognised Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA). Each year the Friends present an exciting program of events to fundraise for the JADA and support the Gallery through acquiring artworks for the collection, supporting projects and sourcing equipment to enhance the Gallery program.
The Friends invite you to join them for a delicious moring tea held on the second Tuesday of every second month in the Gallery Courtyard from 10.00am, dates for 2019 are:
