The Grafton Regional Gallery Collection
The collection is showcased through curated exhibitions and publications.
The Grafton Regional Gallery was opened in 1988 and is a cultural service of the Clarence Valley Council supported by Arts NSW and other funding bodies. The Gallery aims to be an accessible centre of excellence in the visual arts for the residents of and visitors to the Clarence Valley and to promote understanding and development of the visual arts. The Gallery has a permanent collection of over 1300 works which, through an active acquisition policy of purchase, donation and gifting, is steadily growing.
The collection is showcased through curated exhibitions for display in the region and for touring throughout Australia and published catalogues. In addition, works are loaned to galleries and museums, leased to businesses, and are utilised in outreach educational programs.
