AIMS
The Grafton Regional Gallery is the prime visual arts service of the Clarence Valley Council. The Gallery aims to stimulate, develop and enhance the diverse visual culture of the region through viable, dynamic and relevant exhibition, education and collection programs.
Objectives
- To present a diverse and professional exhibition program enhanced by vibrant and community orientated public programs.
- To present exhibitions of regional, national and international art and cultural material with emphasis on Gallery initiated projects.
- To develop, manage, research, preserve, display and promote the Grafton Regional Gallery Collections as a significant collection of artworks to established art museum standards.
- To develop, manage, preserve and display the Clarence Valley Council Collections to established art museum standards.
- To present innovative public, education and outreach programs.
- To develop and enhance the positive profile of the Grafton Regional Gallery.
- To effectively manage the Gallery’s financial and human resources and improve the Gallery’s built environment.
- To support and manage profitable and complimentary commercial activities.

SERVICES
- Professional development of local and regional artists is offered through the Gallery's exhibition and education program. Curators, artists and groups of artists are invited to submit exhibition and public program proposals.
- Conservation and valuation advice and referrals are available.
- Collaboration between the Gallery and other service providers is encouraged in presenting exhibition, education and public programs
- Volunteering services - the Gallery is a community based organisation with over 85 volunteers
- Outreach education and Exhibition programs.
- Grafton Regional Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
